Tiffany Weiss, RYT-200, is a NYC-based yoga, dance, and music instructor. She graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a Master’s of Music, Bachelor’s of Music Education, and Minor in Dance. She comes to the yoga space with over 10 years of classroom and private instruction experience.
After sustaining an injury, Tiffany turned to yoga to rehabilitate, and eventually completed a 200-hour yoga teaching certificate. She enjoys incorporating music into her mindful movement and dance classes, and vice versa. While quarantined, she developed a Movement for Musicians workshop, intended to help musicians connect, stretch, and release tension in the body.
As a freelance violinist, she has worked with Grammy Award-winning artists, played on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and wrote a strings arrangement for Rohan Solomon that was featured in Rolling Stone. She is also co-founder of 7th House Strings Duo and a member of Lotus Chamber Music Collective.
Her teaching philosophy is that music and movement are beneficial to everyone, no matter your background or learning style.
